Loutraki is an internationally well-known spa, a therapeutic destination, and tourist resort in the northern part of the narrow end of the Corinthian bay. Loutraki is at the foothills of one of the most beautiful mountains and forests nationwide, the Gerania Mountains, with its famous for the hot springs and the natural mineral waters, a rare natural environment and an ideal climate.

It is a mountainous village of Ziria, 61km from Corinth. It is found close to the lake bearing the same name, which is known from the deeds of Hercules. According to the myth, it is here where Hercules killed the Stymphalian Birds. The lake has not been developed with respect to tourism.
